I work in a cardboard factory now.

'Surely not!' You exclaim, 'For is there not anything so stereotypically dull as a box factory?'

'No!' I reply to your imaginary conversation. I work in a *cardboard* factory, we make the stuff that goes to box factories. On wild, windswept nights I lie awake and dare to dream of the hubris of working in a box factory. During my short time there I have learned many things about cardboard:

* Cardboard dust is explosive, you can use it to make low grade fireworks. You do not smoke in any sort of paper factory, or use anything that could spark.

* Cardboard glue is made of corn, yet get it on your skin and a day later your skin comes off.

* Cardboard is... card board. The usual 'box stuff' is corrugated cardboard which has to be made separate.

* Due to high turnover from injury and poor workers you can walk right in and ask for a job, and probably get one. even if you're a woman, getting evicted, without a CV or all three.

Computer access remains spotty, further updates as events warrant. (Also, holy crud, 10K deviations to sort through...)

Congrats on the cardboard factory job, hope you stay safe in there. Most particulates tend to be highly flammable and even explosive from what I remember [due to the large surface-to-weight ratio meaning a lot of it can burn in a very short amount of time].

That high turnover from injury sure is ominous...

10K deviations are a lot to go through, I hope your methods are more efficient than mine. Glad to see you are still hanging in there!
