Weird science
In memory of the old science lab at my high school, in the fenced off car wreckers next door. It had been left for almost 20 years after being abandoned, and was still full of neat stuff like potassium hydroxide amongst its rotten beams and roof full of magpie nests. I had some great times pillaging it.

Competition

The lab was dark. The lab was dank. Leaky pipes dripped water and solvents into big puddles on the floor. Old, corroded and broken chemical jars lined the rotting shelves that were held onto the sagging walls only by screws rusted into a solid mass. It was, in short, everything a lab shouldn't be for productive and accurate work.

Ziblink sat and... sat. She really should have been doing something, but like most kiwi, she was incredibly lethargic. (She was so lazy she once spent six moths as a museum exhibit before the curator realized she wasn't actually stuffed, just tired.) She was fighting the urge to go out and get dinner, which would take all night now that the drought had set in. She sat as her stomach rumbled and cursed the god of rain. Better camera view of a moonbow. In this image you can very, very nearly see the actual moonbow, and even some color in it. Of course it does not do it justice.

Buddy, there's a whole warehouse where they go when they arrive int his country. All they know is one word, 'welfare' They get taken to this place and they get to pick out, free fridges, TVs, furniture, you name it. I swear it's true, a cousin of mine has seen it!
